Tactical games, on the other hand, are about running small squads of troopers in real-time to inflict horrible death to enemy soldiers. "Grand strategy" games are usually concerned with the big picture - moving military units across a broad swath of territory and managing all the picayune details that come with attempting to be Emperor of the known universe. The great conceit of Sins is that it will offer the excitement of a real-time strategy title with the epic scope of a classic turn-based "4X" strategy game. We've been excited about Ironclad Games' Sins of a Solar Empire for a while now. ![]()
